CHAS

Fawkes Festival is proud to announce CHAS (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) as our official charity partner.

For over 30 years, CHAS has been a lifeline for families across Scotland, supporting babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions. Their care goes beyond palliative and end-of-life support offering respite, emotional care, and moments of joy when families need it most.

Through Rachel House in Kinross, Robin House in Balloch, and CHAS at Home, families receive compassionate support where they need it most. CHAS also works hand-in-hand with NHS nurses and consultants to ensure seamless care across Scotland.

What makes CHAS truly extraordinary is their commitment to celebrating life, no matter how short it may be. They help families create memories filled with love and laughter, while also offering strength and compassion in times of loss.

We’re delighted that CHAS will join us at this year’s Fawkes Festival. Come along, meet the team, and discover more about the incredible work they do!

Donate to CHAS here or simply add a donation when you purchase your tickets.

Every contribution helps CHAS ensure that no family in Scotland has to face the death of their child alone. Together, we can keep the joy alive for families when they need it most.

Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (known as CHAS) is a Scottish charity, SC019724.

“At the beginning, we felt lonely, powerless, with the sheer dread of the unknown. A hospice would actually be the biggest turning point in our journey.

Suddenly we felt included in a community we’d never known existed and it didn’t seem as scary. It felt like a loving, safe space where people understood how complex and unknown our life had really become.”
